We are  participating in an International Oreo Project this Friday, October 16th, from 8:30 am – 10:00 am, in the MPR at Circle View.
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade GATE classes will
collaborate together to engineer Oreo structures and create fun
STEAM projects.
This is a world wide assignment where children record how high Oreos can be stacked.  It is a great opportunity for our children to practice their statistical skills (mean, median, mode), geography and creativity as they will be sculpting the cream center of the cookies after they have been stacked and tallied. We will be gathering in the MPR if you would like to join the fun.  In order to make this event successful, we are asking each child to donate 1 package of Regular Oreos(NOT Double Stuffed)We would GREATLY these donations of Oreos!

Thank you for your help in making this a great GATE

experience!
